| Common Dreams, an alternative news source reports about a peace walk from family members, who lost relatives in the 9/11 attacks. They have started in Washington, D.C. on November 25th and will arrive in New York City tomorrow (December 2nd). They are lead by Amber Amundson, who lost her husband in the Pentagon attack and who shortly after 9/11 started to express her wish, to honor the memory of her husband not only through acts of war, but to "break the cycle of violence". The marchers are joined by various religious leaders, peace organizations and buddhist and franciscan monks, common in the belief, that ..."military force does not confront the political, social, and economic foundations of terrorism."
