| The London Times reports that the new leader of the Bamiyan area in Afghanistan, Mr. Karim Khalili discovered large pieces of the destroyed Buddha statues and decided to invite the international community to investigate, if and how they can be used for the reconstruction. This news certainly gives a new boost for the official reconstruction initiative from the Swiss Afghanistan Museum in Exile and www.new7wonders.org, a project which WebdaK is actively supporting since August 2001.
