"After clearing the land, culture can begin again..." - 2002.01.22 by WB

The tireless efforts of organizations to clean areas of land mines, like the Cambodia Mine Action Centre should be celebrated, because it enables the local people to start living their life again. When most of the basic human needs of "food, clothes & shelter" are met, sometimes still the inhumane remains of bloody wars have to be removed, before the population can begin to live without fear.
Landmines are destroying people AND their culture and we consider it a duty to support the ban on their use and production.
