After receiving the 2002 Prize for Cultural Freedom from the Lannan Foundation in Santa Fe, the writer Arundhati Roy of Delhi, India announced that she is donating the $350,000 prize money to 50 different people's movements, publications, educational institutions and individuals in India. We congratulate her to the prize, but even more to this kind of INTEGRITY. Sustainable Development in action.
